Mikoko pamoja is a small scale carbon offset facility that seeks to provide lncentives for mangrove restoration and protection through conservation activities, awareness creation, and the sale of mangrove carbon credits. The project is located in Gazi bay, Kenya

Water project
Mikoko Pamoja is supplying water to approximately 4500 community members from 3 local villages

Education projects
Mikoko pamoja has boosted education in the local schools by providing books, desks and renovating classrooms

Awareness creation
We create awareness to school children on the importance of conserving the envitonment by engaging them in artwork & essay writing competitions

Mangrove planting
We are restoring the degraded shoreline of Gazi bay by planting approximately 2000 seedlings annually
